¡HASTA SIEMPRE, QUERIDO EROS! – FAREWELL DEAR EROS! – Mach’s gut, lieber Eros! – Protectora de Animales Anahi en Gran Canaria

La familia de Eros son unas personas maravillosas, hemos tenido la gran suerte de conocerlos cuando querían adoptar a un perrito nuestro hace casi 10 años atrás. Casualmente ese perrito compartía la jaula con Laika, quien cuando vio a su papi fue amor a primera vista. Hubo lo que llamamos una conexión mágica entre ellos. Y decidieron adoptarla, iban continuamente a la protectora a pasear perritos, y en sus paseos iban con otro maravilloso perrito llamado Braco, Laika y Braco se querían mucho y ellos casa vez que lo tenían que dejar en la protectora después de los paseos, sufrían mucho incluida Laika. Hasta que un día no soportaron más y adoptaron también a Braco. ¡Todo iba perfecto, pasaron unos años maravillosos, pero lamentablemente le empezaron a salir tumores, la gran mayoría tratables, pero otros no! Braco les tuvo que dejar y cruzó el arcoíris. ¡La familia quedó muy triste, y decidieron darle la oportunidad a otro grandullón, esta vez fue el más grande de todos los podencos, nuestro querido Eros!

Laika es una perrita encantadora, que se lleva de maravilla con todos los perros así que no fue difícil que ambos se adaptaran a estar juntos. Vivieron varios años en San Mateo, pero lamentablemente tuvieron que mudarse y sus papis tuvieron que volver a su país.

Desde Alemania, sus papis nos contaban que se habían adaptado muy bien a su nuevo hogar. Pero nuestro querido grandullón se nos había hecho mayor, y lamentablemente el reloj de la vida se detuvo mientras dormía, al lado de su inseparable compañera de juegos, paseos y mimos, Laika.

Queremos dar las infinitas gracias a este maravilloso papi como lo es Michael y a esta maravillosa mami como lo es Antje, y a la más hermosa, generosa y cariñosa hermana de 4 patas como lo ha sido Laika tanto para Eros como en su momento para Braco. Mil gracias por preferir adoptar a nuestros grandullones, es difícil que una familia quiera adoptar a un perrito grande, y más cuando es grande y ya tiene añitos. Pero para Michael y Antje lo primero y más importante es esa conexión mágica, sin importar tamaño, ni añitos, sabemos que lo han pasado muy mal al perder a Braco, y ahora al perder a Eros, pero tengan siempre en vuestros corazones que gracias a ustedes estos dos ángeles han pasado los años más maravillosos de sus vidas. ¡Se les extraña mucho en la isla, queridos amigos!

Eros’ family are wonderful people. Were very lucky because they came to us 10 years ago to adopt a dog and since them they have been very close to us. They met Laika that first day and it was love at first sight and because of that magic bound, they decided to adopt her. They used to come to help us at the animal protector and always brought Laika with them. Laika had a special connection with another dog called Braco. Because they all suffered a lot leaving Braco behind, they decided to adopt him too. They had some wonderful years together but, sadly, Braco started developing some tumours and went to the dog heaven. The family was devastated but decided to adopt another big dog and Eros was the lucky one!

Laika gets along very well wit all dogs, so it was very easy the adaptation process. They lived in San Mateo for a few years before they had to come back to their country. They paretns told us they liked their new home in Germany. Our big old boy was enjoying his new life but, unfortunately, his heart stopped one night while he was sleeping next to his beloved friend Laika.

We want to thank the most wonderful parents, Michael and Antje, and the best sister, Laika, for loving Eros and Braco so much and giving them another opportunity. Thank you very much for choosing to adopt our dogs and more important, for choosing big dogs who always find more problems. For Antje and Michael the most important thing is to find that magical connection with dogs, it doesn’t matter their size or age. We know it’s a sad time for them so we want to send them all our love. We also want to thank them for loving Eros, Braco and Laika so much and for giving them another opportunity. We missed you a lot dear friends!

Eros’ Familie sind wundervolle Menschen. Wir hatten das grosse Glück, sie kennenzulernen, als sie vor fast 10 Jahren einen Hund adoptieren wollten. Zufälligerweise teilte er seinen Zwinger mit Laika, und als ihr Papi sie sah, war es Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Es war eine magische Verbindung zwischen den beiden, und sie entschlossen sich, sie zu adoptieren. Sie kamen weiterhin zu uns, gingen mit Hunden spazieren, unter anderem auch mit einem anderen wunderbaren Hund namens Braco. Laika und Braco mochten sich sehr, und beide Adoptanten litten, wenn sie sie danach wieder in der Tierschutzorganisation zurücklassen mussten, ebenso wie Laika. Eines Tages hielten sie es nicht mehr aus und adoptierten auch Braco. Alles lief perfekt, es vergingen ein paar wunderbare Jahre, aber leider bekam Braco Tumore, die meisten zwar behandelbar, aber eben nicht alle, und Braco ging über die Regenbogenbrücke. Seine Familie war sehr traurig, beschloss aber, einem anderen grossen Hund eine Chance zu geben, und dieses Mal war es der grösste aller Podencos, unser geliebter Eros!

Laika ist eine bezaubernde Hündin, die sich mit allen Hunden versteht, und so war es nicht schwer, dass sich beide schnell an einander gewöhnten. Mehrere Jahre lebten sie in San Mateo, doch leider musste die Familie in ihr Heimatland zurückziehen.

Aus Deutschland berichteten sie uns, dass sich beide Hunde sehr gut in ihrem neuen Zuhause eingelebt hatten, doch unser lieber Lulatsch war alt geworden, und seine Lebensuhr blieb stehen, als er neben Laika, seiner unzertrennlichen Spielgefährtin und Begleiterin seiner Spaziergänge, schlief.

Wir möchten Michael, diesem wundervollen Papi und Antje, der wundervollen Mami von Eros unendlich danken, ebenso der tollsten, grossmütigsten und verschmustesten vierbeinigen Schwester, die Laika für Eros und früher auch für Braco war. Tausend Dank, dass ihr unsere Grossen adoptiert habt. Es ist schwierig, eine Familie zu finden, die einen grossen Hund aufnimmt und besonders, wenn er schon älter ist, aber für Michael und Antje ist es vor allem wichtig, dass die Chemie stimmt, und nicht die Grösse oder das Alter. Wir wissen, dass es ihnen sehr schlecht ging, als Braco starb, und jetzt Eros zu verlieren, aber behaltet immer im Herzen, dass diese beiden Engel ihre besten und wundervollsten Jahre bei euch verbringen durften. Liebe Freunde, wir vermissen Euch sehr auf der Insel!
