Nuestra viejita Lucy sigue tan activa como siempre, ha tenido esta semana una pequeña caída, la cual ahora está en tratamiento, pero se encuentra recuperándose bien.  Lucy ya lleva dos años con nosotros, su dueño tuvo que volver a su país y dejó a Lucy en la isla.  Nos hemos hecho cargo de ella, sabemos que una adopción es muy difícil para un perrito de más de 16 años, con incontinencia urinaria cuando duerme, el resto del día no se hace pipi encima.  Lucy no representa la edad que tiene, es muy activa: salta, corre, juega es sociable con otros perros y cariñosa con los humanos.  Nunca se sabe, tal vez haya alguien que le quiera dar un hogar en sus últimos años.

Our old Lucy is still as active as ever, she had a small fall this week, which is now being treated, but she is recovering well.  Lucy has been with us for two years now, her owner had to return to his country and left Lucy on the island.  We have taken care of her, we know that adoption is very difficult for a dog over 16 years old, with urinary incontinence when she sleeps, the rest of the day she does not pee on herself.  Lucy doesn’t feel like her age, she is very active: she jumps, runs, plays, is sociable with other dogs and affectionate with humans.  You never know, maybe there is someone who wants to give her a home in her final years.
